Cut your own Christmas Tree
Help staff from the Surrey Heathland Project clear invasive young pine trees from an important area of heathland, and take home your own eco-friendly Christmas tree! Clearing the pines helps to protect a valuable wildlife habitat.
No need to book. Tools provided on a first come first served basis. Children must be supervised. Sorry no dogs.

Directions:
From Ash take Mytchett Lake Road for half a mile, at the junction turn right onto Mytchett Place Road. Pass Keogh Barracks and continue for half a mile to a lay by on your right.

This joint initiative, covering a wide area of NE Hants including the heathland areas bordering Berkshire and Surrey, was established to meet the challenge of protectng and enhancing all that is special about the area whilst promoting a healthy and sustainable rural economy. Held at Gallery Room, The Tythings, Yateley Green at 8:00pm free admission to all-comers.
