INVENTORY of John DURGATE, Potter of Cove, died 1622

Hampshire Record Office Ref 1622AD/23

Yateley History Project transciption MO24ADM

Please note: the transcription below is that made by the Yateley History Project over 20 years ago. Elizabeth Lewis provided a transcript of this same inventory as an appendix in her paper The Blackwater Potters Revisted Custom and Ceramics pages 128-146. She acknowledges Sarah Lewin at the HRO who introduced her to the inventories and Edward Roberts and Karen Parker who guided her in their transcription and interpretation. I have not used the Lewis transcription since I do not have its copyright. Neither have I checked for differences between the two transcriptions. PJT
