Pots and Potters in Tudor Hampshire

"Pots and Potters in Tudor Hampshire", Jacqui Pearce's new book has now been published and is available from Guildford Museum at £19.95.

More details at the Museum of London website or from Guildford Museum Bookshop

There is a short review of Jacqui's book by Clive Orton in the Spring 2008 edition of London Archaeologist. This is on the web but I can't get a link to work. There is now an extensive review by Marta Caroscio, the Lila Wallace - Reader's Digest Fellow 2011-12 at The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies at Villa I Tatti. This review is published in The Journal of the Society for Post-medieval Archchaeology, Volume 46, Part 2, 2012 page 462-463 but unfortunately is not available without a subscription, or direct purchase. The book was also a reviewed by Beverly A. Straube in Archaeological Ceramics (pp. 345-347, 3 notes). Beverly Straube is Senior Curator at APVA Preservation Virginia.  Jacqui's book is thus achieving international recognition. PJT
