Adding a new Wiki page is very easy

  • click the EDIT THIS PAGE button on the page you want to link to
  • you'll get a text window containing the text of the existing page
  • at the bottom of that window type two capitalised words eg WebsiteDesign without a space
  • click the UPDATE button at the top of the page
  • at the bottom of the saved page you will find the link to your new page underlined and in red (it later turns blue)
  • click on the red underlined wikiword link to open your new blank page
  • have your new text available in Notepad (.txt)
  • make sure that " and ' are the ASCII/ANSI characters and NOT the pretty ones used by word processors
  • don't indent paragraph margins, and make sure there is a blank line separating paragraphs
  • mark your new text
  • Control C over the marked text
  • Control V over the blank text box in Wiki
  • your new text will appear in the box
  • tidy it up (you can also removed non-ASCII characters at this stage since they are easier to spot
  • click UPDATE at the top of the page
  • don't try 'drag and drop' of the new text into the Wiki window it doesn't work
  • mission complete
