Yateley Hall is the grandest of Yateley Mansions and is a Grade II* building. The Yateley Society did a very detailed survey of hte house between 1987 and 1992 before during and after its refurbishment as offices. NEHAS also undertook an archaeological dig of the moat which originally surrounded the site, and which was largely fille in in the early C18. The eastern moat was extended and converted into a Georgian canal.
